When something Doesn't Feel Right
There are times in life when something simply doesn't feel right. You may not be able to explain it or prove it at that moment, but there is a little voice telling to you to pay attention.
I know that feeling well.
Writing Family Shattered gave me a place to tell my family's story, but finishing the book didn't mean I stopped thinking about what happened. There were lessons I learned along the way, questions I still think about, and moments that look different when I reflect on them now.
This is why I decided to start this blog.
This isn't a place where I will pretend to have all the answers. It is simply a place to share my lived experience, and perhaps start conversations about family, trust, caregiving, loneliness, and the importance of paying attention when something doesn't feel right.
In the posts ahead, I will share moments that stayed with me, questions I've continued to think about, and everyday things that make me stop and reflect.
If something I share encourages you to trust your instincts or look at a situation a little differently, I'm glad you're here.
